Ayurveda is the oldest practiced medical system in the world. The sister science of Yoga, it applies the five elements to attain opitmal health and longevity. In a one-on-one session, each client is assessed to identify the presence of these elements through three bodily humors:
VATA, the energy of motion (ether + air)
PITTA, the energy of metabolism (fire + water)
KAPHA, the energy of growth (earth + water)
We then work together to create a personalized treatment plan of exercise, diet, herbs and other lifestyle practices to promote healing and harmony.
